BackBiting

Abu Huraira reported Allaah’s Messenger (sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam) as saying: Do you know what is backbiting? They (the Companions) said: Allaah and His Messenger know best. Thereupon he (the Prophet) said: Backbiting implies your talking about your brother in a manner which he does not like. It was said to him: What is your opinion about this that if I actually find (that failing) in my brother which I made a mention of? He said: If (that failing) is actually found (in him) what you assert, you in fact backbited him, and if that is not in him it is a slander. (Muslim, 6265)

  1. Undoubtedly our Prophet pbuh tought us best social behaviour.

  2. Thats the most common evil in our society realized to a minute degree 🙁
    May Allah protect us all..

  3. absolutely we are guided on every aspect that may lead to disparity among muslim brothers….
sis kindly guide us what to do when our elders are doing this backbiting thing…and we don’t have any other option but to sit their in the same room…indeed we should stop them but if not then….rather this latter state show our low emaan…may Allah guide us.
