Falling into the trap of Shaytan

Then the Shaytan made them slip therefrom (the Paradise), and got them out from that in which they were. We said: “Get you down, all, with enmity between yourselves. On earth will be a dwelling place for you and an enjoyment for a time.” (2:36)

Allah honored Adam by commanding the angels to prostrate before him, so they all complied except for Iblis. Allah then allowed Adam to live and eat wherever and whatever he wished in Paradise.

Adam and Eve were in the close proximity to Allah and was enjoying the best in the heaven. In spite of that they fell into the trap of Satan.

Human beings are prone to error all the time. But we need to remain conscious of Allah so that we can minimize falling into the traps of Satan.

If we slip for a moment, remember, Allah answers the prayers of those who repent. So never despair the Mercy of Allah. This does not mean we can commit a sin deliberately thinking Allah will forgive us Smile

A servant [of Allah’s] committed a sin and said: O Allah, forgive me my sin. And He (glorified and exalted be He) said:My servant has committed a sin and has known that he has a Lord who forgives sins and punishes for them. Then he sinned again and said: O Lord, forgive me my sin. And He (glorified and exalted be He) said: My servant has committed a sin and has known that he has a Lord who forgives sins and punishes for sins. Do what you wish, for I have forgiven you.  (Muslim and al-Bukhari).

    salam alaykum,
masha ‘Allah a very excellent post!!!!!! 🙂
thanks for remindin : that Allah forgives sins doesn’t mean we can commit sins deliberately!! There is a dua (from memory): forgive those sins that I have committed knowingly and unknowingly…
sis, there are times when we do commit sins while knowing or in other words we often commit sins deliberatly.
have you seen those when you remind them of the bad deeds that they are upto, they answer you back?! So there are those who persist on sinnin even when you remind them, sadly!
But, the true belivers are those who immediately remember Allah after they have sinned and they don’t persist on sinning…u know 🙂
May Allah forgive us those sins and all the other sins!!!!!!!!!
    take care sis,
    wassalamu alaykum
