Fasting Prohibited on Eid

Abu Huraira (Allaah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allaah (sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam) forbade to observe fast on these two days. ‘Id-ul-Adha bi and ‘Id-ul-Fitr. (Muslim, 2534)

  1. these are our special days…so why to fast on these days…as Allah commanded it …alhamdulilah…but there is a practice in less developed regions of our country, where few people are not satisfied with the decision of the govt..that govt officially declared eid the next day after citing the moon…they think that govt is always not true in sighting the moon so we will have our eid on 30th even if govt declared it to be eid on 29th of ramdan incase of eid-ul-fitr…some interrelated confusing things that happen…may Allah protect us from doubtful matters and enable us to be on the straight path

  2. Ameen.. I never knew that there were such kind of people too…
