Holy Qur’an

My dear brothers and sisters in Islam, when I read the Holy Quran every ayat has knowledge, wisdom and salvation for me. I have many favorite ayats.
I want to share one of them with you.
Allah says in the Qur’an:
يَـٰٓأَيُّہَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ لَا يَسۡخَرۡ قَوۡمٌ۬ مِّن قَوۡمٍ عَسَىٰٓ أَن يَكُونُواْ خَيۡرً۬ا مِّنۡہُمۡ وَلَا نِسَآءٌ۬ مِّن نِّسَآءٍ عَسَىٰٓ أَن يَكُنَّ خَيۡرً۬ا مِّنۡہُنَّۖ وَلَا تَلۡمِزُوٓاْ أَنفُسَكُمۡ وَلَا تَنَابَزُواْ بِٱلۡأَلۡقَـٰبِ ۖ بِئۡسَ ٱلِٱسۡمُ ٱلۡفُسُوقُ بَعۡدَ ٱلۡإِيمَـٰنِۚ وَمَن لَّمۡ يَتُبۡ فَأُوْلَـٰٓٮِٕكَ هُمُ ٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَ
“O ye who believe! let not some men among you laugh at others: it may be that the (latter) are better than the (former): nor let some women laugh at others: it may be that the (latter) are better than the (former): nor defame nor be sarcastic to each other, nor call each other by (offensive) nicknames: Ill-seeming is a name connoting wickedness, (to be used of one) after he has believed: And those who do not desist are (Indeed) doing wrong.” (49:11)
I love Quran. Allah teaches me manners how to behave. I should not insult someone; make fun of any one. I will be accountable to Allah.
I meet Muslims who pray five times a day ,give zakat, fast regularly, read Holy Quran yet they hurt others with tongue. When you question them they say they were only joking. Our religion is complete. I was very happy to read this ayat. May Allah Almighty forgive us all and help us in making ourselves better Muslims. Ameen

Sahl Ibn Sa’ad reported that Allah’s Messenger, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: “Whoever can guarantee for me (that he will guard) what is between his jaws (tongue) and what is between his legs (private parts), I will guarantee for him Paradise.” (Bukhari)
Abu Hurairah reported that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: “Whosoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him say what is good or remain silent.” (Bukhari)
dear sister humaira a good article,yes its true,people foolow all the rules set but always think of them as superior and talk bad about others.This is the thing which ALLAH dilikes MOST [gibat].so its true when we read the quran follow it.
Yes sister Arjuman i love my religion because it not only teaches me how to be obedient servant of Allah but also teaches me about respecting others .
