Faith in Allah
Narrated byUmar ibn al-Khattab: Umar heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) say: ‘If you put your faith completely in Allah, He will arrange for your sustenance in the same way as He provides for the birds. They go out in the morning with their stomachs empty and return filled in the evening.’ (Tirmidhi, 79)
subhanAllah…may Allah guide us to put all our trust in Allah’s mercy and go forward and do good without worrying about the future that desparetly…
Ameen..
But we need to do our hard work and then put our trust in Allah..
The birds do the hard work of flying and finding the food, but the birds fly with the hope that they will find food, that is tawaqqul.
In the same way, we need to do our part and then finally put our trust in Allah insha ALlah..
We should not put our trust in Allah and sit at home and think money will come flying to us without working:)

Sister Shayistha, I totaly agree with you ….
Salam alaykum,
may Allah give us power and force to work hard, inshaalah. Ans whatever we do we have to do it for His sake. This is first time to read this hadith and I love it. Jazach Allaah Khayran, sister for posting and explaining for us.
Allah says in the Qur’an:
If good befalls thee it grieves them; but if a misfortune befalls thee they say "We took indeed our precautions beforehand" and they turn away rejoicing. Say: "Nothing will happen to us except what Allah has decreed for us: He is our protector": and on Allah let the Believers put their trust. (At-Tawbah 9:50-51)
"Strange are the ways of a believer for there is good in every affair of his and this is not the case with anyone else except in the case of a believer for if he has an occasion to feel delight he thanks [Allah], thus there is a good for him in it, and if he gets into trouble and shows resignation (and endures it patiently), there is good for him in it." (Reported by Muslim)
JazakiAllah khair sis Shayista, for that beautiful Hadith and its explanation. 🙂
jazakum Allah khair all the beautiful and pious sisters for elaborating this delightful hadith. 🙂
The teaching of Prophet Mohammed(saw)is not for Muslim alone but for the whole Mankind.
subhan allah yes everything we get from hard work and dedication to it.
