It is Obligatory to Love the Prophet…

It is Obligatory to Love the Prophet (SAW) more than the members of one's Household: One's child, father or even the Whole of  Humanity

It is reported on the authority of Anas that the Messenger of Allaah (sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam) said: No bondsman believes, and, in the hadith narrated by Abdul Warith, no person believes, till I am dearer to him than the members of his household, his wealth and the whole of mankind. (Muslim, 70)

It is reported on the authority of Anas b. Malik that the Messenger of Allaah said: None of you is a believer till I am dearer to him than his child, his father and the whole of mankind. (Muslim, 71)

Lessons to Learn from this Hadith

How to Love Prophet Mohammed (SAW)?  Our love towards Prophet (SAW) can be expressed by:

1. Supporting His Mission i.e. Islam
2. Learn the teachings of Islam and then implement it in our life.
3. Receiving knowledge and then passing it on to others.
4. Obeying the commands of Allah and Prophet Mohammed (SAW)
