Patience Upon Losing Eye Sight
Narrated Anas bin Malik: I heard Allah’s Apostle saying, “Allah said, ‘If I deprive my slave of his two beloved things (i.e., his eyes) and he remains patient, I will let him enter Paradise in compensation for them.'” [Bukhari, 5289]

We are all tested in various ways by Allah (S.W.T.) in this world.
Allah says in the Quran:
Be sure we shall test you with something of fear and hunger, some loss in goods or lives or the fruits (of your toil), but give glad tidings to those who patiently persevere.
[Surah Baqarah: 155]
Patience is is one of the best and most valuable virtues of life. We need to bear with patience that which Allaah has decreed, and be patient in obeying Allaah, and be patient in keeping away from sin in order to gain rewards from Allah Subhana wata ala.
May Allah make us among those who are patient in all their affairs.
