Charity: Debit or Credit?
What thought comes in your mind first when you have an opportunity to give Charity?
Think!
For a fraction of a second don’t you fear that your wealth will decrease?
Doesn’t Satan whisper into your ears that “you have many expenses to take care off”?
Allah says: “The devil(Satan) promises you poverty and enjoins you to (commit) indecencies, while Allah promises you protective forgiveness from Himself and grace, and Allah is Omnipresent (Ample-giving), Knowing” (2:268)
How many times have you fallen into this trap of Satan?
…However the truth is charity increases your wealth – Did you Know?
“Who is there who would loan to Allah a good loan so that He will multiply for him, multiplying it many times, and Allah straitens and enlarges, and towards Him you will return.” (2:245)
Abu Huraira reported Allaah’s Messenger (sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam) as saying: charity does not in any way decrease the wealth and the servant who forgives, Allaah adds to his respect, and the one who shows humility, Allaah elevates him in the estimation (of the people). (Sahih Muslim)

I am not working, in spite of that I get money from different sources and Subhan Allah, that time I reflect on this hadith and verses!. Subhan Allah, it is soo true.
We should always remember that Allah never breaks His promises, and the Qur’an is the Truth.
Alhamdulilah tats very true.
Intention to please Allah SWT,Reward is from AllahSWT and success is in the duniya abd hereafter.I particulary love this ayat“The likeness of those who spend for Allah’s sake is as the likeness of a grain of corn, it grows seven ears every single ear has a hundred grains, and Allah multiplies (increases the reward of) for whom He wills, and Allah is sufficient for His creatures’ needs, All-Knower).” (Qur’an, 2:261.Also I make dua to Allah swt that he makes me forget,to whom I had given and how much,so that I dont think much of it.
JazakAllahu Khairan sister ummreen for sharing the beautiful ayah with us.
Qur’an 2:219
…They ask thee how much they are to spend (in charity);
say: "What is beyond your needs."
Thus doth Allah make clear to you His Signs: in order that ye may consider.
JazakiAllah khair for such beautiful reminder. If we do things for Allah’s sake even if it’s a bit hard at that very moment to do that, but Allah’s Blessing is what we seek in such acts. and indeed they are evident when one has made a firm intention to do it for His sake.
Charity either it be a simple smile or giving your quality time when you already are juggling with it, or helping your mates with their respective works….it’s liberating :)…there are sooooooo many chances to gain the hasannah of Charity. SubhanAllah
