Ramadan Mubarak 2014

Assalamu Alaikum my dear brothers and sisters,

Isn’t it indeed an honour, a gift and a blessing that Allaah has kept us alive to witness yet another Ramadan in our life… Alhamdulillah!

The month of Hope, Repentance, Rejuvenation, and Soul-upliftment is back. The month wherein the doors of Heaven are opened, the doors of Hell-Fire are closed, and the devils are chained. The most important and special month, because the Qur’aan was sent down in it! Have we any other reason greater than this to celebrate this month? And Allaah Almighty has willed that we celebrate this month by Fasting it. And that we strive to attain “Taqwa” by the very act of fasting.

The only month in which the body is ‘starved’ while the soul is ‘fed’. Whereas in All other months, we tend to starve our souls and feed our bodies.

A month wherein there is a night better than a 1000 months! A month of Charity. One whole month – an opportunity to refine our Character and train ourselves for the battles of the upcoming months… A month to take full advantage of and to get closer to Allah. A month in which the Qur’aan ought to be recited like as if it was the very first time and as if it was never recited before. SubhanAllaah…

May Allah accept all our Ibadaat during this blessed month.

May Allah accept all our Du’aat.

May Allah help us do more Ibadah in it than any other month.

May Allah forgive us our sins which we commit knowingly and unknowingly.

May Allah help us be steadfast in this beautiful religion. Ameen

Kindly remember us in your Du’as.

Remember! “Don’t let the day of fasting be the same as the day you don’t fast.”

As always, “Are We Prepared” has a special Ramadan Plan wherein we would send you soul-enriching hadeeth, gems, articles and golden words that would help keep you focussed and dedicated during the entire month and hopefully inshaAllaah even after this months ends. Here is what we have planned for you:

  • Daily Pearls: Hadiths related to Ramadan with links to related articles shall be emailed daily, insha Allah.
  • Articles: To  help us keep the spirit of Ramadan alive, a new article on Ramadan will be sent to you regularly.
Please keep sending in your valuable feedback and suggestions, as they always help us plan new things for You!
JazakAllahu Khairan
