Charity

Allah says: “The devil(Satan) promises you poverty and enjoins
you to (commit) indecencies, while Allah promises you protective forgiveness
from Himself and grace, and Allah is Omnipresent (Ample-giving), Knowing”
(2:268)

Allah promised, and He is the Most Generous Who
never breaks His pomise, and He will compensate those who spend in His sake:

Say, " (It
is) certainly my Fosterer (Who) enlarges the provision for whom He wills and
His servants and straitens (it) for him (whenever He wills). And whatever you spend from anything (in
Allahs cause), He replaces it, and He is the Best of providers.
(34:39)

He compensates those who spend for His
sake with manifold of what they spend, both in this life and the Hereafter: "Who is there who would
loan to Allah a good loan so that He will multiply for him, multiplying it many
times, and Allah straitens and enlarges, and towards Him you will return."

(2:245)

Allah mentioned in His Book of manners
of spending, and promised those who adhere by these manners with reward, peace
and happiness both in this life and the hereafter: " Those who spend their wealth in the Cause of
Allah, and do not follow up their gifts with reminders of their generosity or
with injury, their reward is with their Lord. On them shall be no fear, nor
shall thery grieve."
(2:262)

Allah says: "O you
who believe! Spend of that with which We have provided for you, before a Day
comes when there will be no bargaining, nor friendship, nor intercession. And
it is the disbelievers who are the Zaalimoon (wrongdoers)"
[2:254]

Narrated Abu Huraira:  The Prophet said,
"Allah will give shade, to seven, on the Day when there will be no shade
but His. (These seven persons are) a just ruler, a youth who has been brought
up in the worship of Allah ( i.e. worships Allah sincerely from childhood), a
man whose heart is attached to the mosques (i.e. to pray the compulsory prayers
in the mosque in congregation), two persons who love each other only for
Allah's sake and they meet and part in Allah's cause only, a man who refuses
the call of a charming woman of noble birth for illicit intercourse with her
and says: I am afraid of Allah, a man who gives charitable gifts so secretly that his left hand does not
know what his right hand has given ( i.e. nobody knows how much he has given in
charity)
, and a person who remembers
Allah in seclusion and his eyes are then flooded with tears."  (Bukhari)

Prophet(saw) said: " No charity ever decreases wealth, and
Allah grants the slave grace for his pardoning others, and he who is humble for
Allah's sake then Allah the Exalted and the Most Honored will elevate his
grade."
(Muslim)

Also He said: " Allah the Exalted
said, '
Spend, O son of Adam, and Allah will spend on you.
"
(Bukhari)

 Allah said:
“You will never attain righteousness unless you spend from that which you love,
and whatever you spend of anything, then Allah certainly has knowledge of
it."
(3:92)

“And Take Sadaqah (alms) from
their wealth, through which you may
clean them and purify them
and pray for them, your prayer will certainly
be (a source of) security for them and Allah is Hearing, Knowing.”
 (9:103)

 Narrated 'Adi bin Hatim:   I
heard the Prophet saying: "Save
yourself from Hell-fire even by giving half a date-fruit in charity."

 (Bukhari)

 Narrated Abu Huraira:  The Prophet
(SAW) said, "The
best charity is that which is practiced by a wealthy person. And start giving
first to your dependents
." (Bukhari)

Narrated Abu Huraira:  The Prophet said,
"Every day
two angels come down from Heaven and one of them says, 'O Allah! Compensate
every person who spends in Your Cause,' and the other (angel) says, 'O Allah!
Destroy every miser.' "
(Bukhari)

"Believe in Allaah and His
Messenger (Muhammad), and spend of that whereof He has made you trustees. And
such of you as believe and spend (in Allaah's way), theirs will be a great
reward"
[57:7]

Prophet (saw) said: "Who
among you loves the wealth of his inheritors more than he loves his
wealth?" They said, "Everyone among us loves his own wealth more, O
Allahs Messener (Saw)."He said: "Verily,
ones wealth is that which he spends, while the money he keeps will end up with
his inheritor
."
(Bukhari)

The Prophet (saw) said: " charity
given to the poor is charity, while charity given to a relative is twofold: a
charity and a Silah( In reference to keeping the ties of kinship.)"

(Bukhari)

It was narrated that Abu Hurayrah (may Allaah be
pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah
be upon him) said: "Whoever gives charity
equal to a date from good (halal) earnings – for Allaah does not accept
anything but that which is good – Allaah will take it in His right hand and
tend it for the one who gave it as any one of you tends his foal, until it
becomes like a mountain."
 (Bukhaari)
