Adam repents and supplicates to Allah

Then Adam received from his Lord Words. And his Lord pardoned him (accepted his repentance). Verily, He is the One Who forgives (accepts repentance), the Most Merciful. (2:37)

Adam repents and supplicates to Allah

They said: “Our Lord! We have wronged ourselves. If You forgive us not, and bestow not upon us Your mercy, we shall certainly be of the losers.”) (7:23)

(Verily, He is the One Who forgives (accepts repentance), the Most Merciful) means that Allah forgives whoever regrets his error and returns to Him in repentance.

The Ayat mentioned above, testify to the fact that Allah forgives the sins of whoever repents, demonstrating His kindness and mercy towards His creation and servants. There is no deity worthy of worship except Allah, the Most Forgiving, the Most Merciful.

Adam, quickly realized the faults and fell back on Allah in repentance. He realized and approved the ownership of Allah in all his endeavors and realized that without Allah’s forgiveness he will be a loser. Where in the other hand you will see that Saitan was proud and arrogant.

Follow the Qur’an Reminders to find how Shaytan responded and lets discuss the context in the present world scenarios.

  1. How often do we really regret and repent after committing a sin?

This is a beautiful example for us to learn from.

Adam and Eve committed a sin by disobeying Allah when Allah told them not to eat from one particular tree. Shaytan whispered into their ears and they fell into the trap of Shaytan.

Immediately they realizes they committed a sin and asked Allah for forgiveness without any delay.

    Do we do the same?

Do we even realize that we have committed a sin?

Do we regret and repent to Allah the same way?

Subhan Allah, this is indeed a wonderful reminder for us to learn lessons from.

Jazakallahu khair my sweet sis for sharin this one!!!!!!! :):)

that’s how the people of taqwah are (from memory) : ‘…they remember Allah immediately…’ [surah Imran]
they sin too, but they remember Allah just after sinnin and are too quick to repent!!

I look foward to learn how shaytan responded to this call!

    Take care sis,
    wasslamu alaykum warahmatullahi wabarkaatuhu
