Should I fast while Travelling?

travelNarrated ‘Aisha: (the wife of the Prophet) Hamza bin ‘Amr Al-Aslami asked the Prophet, “Should I fast while traveling?” The Prophet replied, “You may fast if you wish, and you may not fast if you wish.” (Bukhari, 1826)

  1. Allah, the most WISE, knows everything…although travelling is easy nowadays with the facilities available but even then travelling has its own peculiar distresses that at times can’t be avoided and Allah, the Exalted, made fasting an option for a traveller…subhanAllah

subhan allah, our lord has made the deen soo easy for us to follow alhamdulillah.

  3. Highly useful for both learners and those with knowledge.
utility is common for young and ageing. Nice

  4. Actually if your journey is to a short distance in a short time you are obliged to fast but if it is a ‘long distance and a long time’ or ‘long distance and a short time’ or ‘short distance and long time’ then you can fast or not fast and make up for it .

Islam is such a simple & easy way of life. Therefore, all the contents in Islam is for the well being of human. The same topic we were discussing yesterday as a group while we are returning after performing Umrah from Makkah to Madinah Al Munawwarah.Specially when you travel in the month of Ramadan, it is better to reap more good deeds, rather than ignoring.Just push your self little bit during this holy month and try to get more closer to Almighty Allah. The decision lies in our hand.
