Give Charity Generously

generous 2Narrated Ibn ‘Abbas: Allah’s Apostle was the most generous of all the people, and he used to reach the peak in generosity in the month of ramadan when Gabriel met him. Gabriel used to meet him every night of ramadan to teach him the Qur’an. Allah’s Apostle was the most generous person, even more generous than the strong uncontrollable wind (in readiness and haste to do charitable deeds). (Bukhari, 5)

  1. May Allah ( swt) aid us in being as charitable, Ameen

  2. Prophet sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) said: “Charity does not decrease wealth.” [Muslim]

The Prophet sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) said: "Everyday two angels descend and one of them says, `O Allaah! Compensate (more) to the person who gives (in charity)’; while the other one says, `O Allaah! Destroy the one who withholds (charity, etc).’" [Al-Bukhaari]

Prophet sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ): “Protect yourselves from the Fire even if it is with half a date.” [Al-Bukhaari]

  3. Surah Baqarah

    261. The likeness of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is as the likeness of a grain that grows (into) seven ears, in every ear a hundred grains, and Allah multiplies for whom He wills and Allah is Omnipresent (Ample-giving), Knowing.

    262. Those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah, then do not follow what they spend, by stressing their obligation and annoyance, for them is their reward with their Fosterer, and there will neither be any fear on them nor will they grieve.

    268. The devil promises you poverty and enjoins you to (commit) indecencies, while Allah promises you protective forgiveness from Himself and grace, and Allah is Omnipresent (Ample-giving), Knowing

Almighty, Says (what means): "…And whatever you spend of good – it will be fully repaid to you, and you will not be wronged.” [Quran 2: 272]

    274. Those who spend their wealth by night and day secretly and publicly, then for them, their reward is there with their Fosterer, and there will neither be any fear on them nor will they grieve.

  5. Rakhshaan Khan says:

Other than wealth kinship and good relations is also a form of sadqa. Try to forgive people for "Err is human and forgiveness is divine", be it relatives or friends or colleagues. Exchanging smiles, sharing feelings and helping one another is also something that we should be looking forward to in this holy month.
May Allah (SWT) accept our deeds, forgive us and have mercy on us

  6. amina remmy says:

May Allaah give us the giving heart always ln shaa Allaah and not the receiving only.Saum MAQBUL WA RAMADHAN MUBARAK
